Overview
Leasing Consultant - JTB at The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. (JTB Apartments in Jacksonville, FL). This role focuses on greeting prospects, presenting community features, guiding applicants through the leasing process, and securing lease agreements from qualified prospects. The position offers an hourly wage plus bonus, health benefits, paid time off, 401(k) with match, and growth potential as the portfolio expands. Core Responsibilities
Personally manage every aspect of the leasing process with prospective tenants. Provide the highest level of customer service to future tenants and current residents. Guide clients on tours, the application process, and close sales. Close sales on units to maximize occupancy and offer additional products or services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective and current client history. Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Address resident concerns with a positive customer service attitude to ensure satisfaction with management. Provide follow-through and assistance to Property Manager and support groups for ongoing property maintenance. Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed, with regular inspections and tours. Assist Property Manager with training on-site staff to achieve operational goals of the property. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong sales and/or leasing experience. High level of interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain a high-energy, friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform entry- to intermediate-level mathematical functions without additional assistance. National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) desired. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office; type at least 30 WPM; Yardi experience a plus. Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents. Be able to work evenings and weekends if requested. Comply with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA; follow all applicable laws and codes pertaining to apartments and property management. Hourly Pay Range: $18-$20. Benefits
