Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Team Member at Flexcraft plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our facility. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping materials with accuracy and efficiency, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Document discrepancies and notify supervisor Unload materials and place in designated storage areas Verify Certificates of Analysis (COA) for incoming resins Apply FIFO inventory standards Ensure accurate scanning and real-time inventory updates Shipping:
Prepare and package outgoing shipments Verify shipping addresses and Bill of Lading details Physically count pallets and confirm against documentation Ensure accurate scanning and timely shipment processing Maintain proper documentation and avoid manual quantity changes Inventory Management:
Assist with warehouse organization and space optimization Ensure accurate barcode and placard placement Warehouse Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and safety per GMP and Flexcraft standards Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely Perform daily forklift inspections Identify opportunities for improved efficiency and organization Collaboration and Training:
Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations Train new team members on procedures and protocols Support team members with urgent tasks and special projects Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with general warehouse tasks (sorting, packing, handling) Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures Continuously seek process improvements Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Forklift certification preferred (or ability to pass in-house training) Experience & Skills:
Minimum 3 years of forklift experience Proficient with barcode scanners and warehouse equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized and efficient task management Self-motivated and proactive Team-oriented and collaborative Flexible and dependable Strong communication and customer-first mindset Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift boxes up to 30 lbs Sit for extended periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist motions Reach with hands and arms; frequent computer monitor use Close vision and color vision required
