What does a media supervisor do As the ideal candidate you will have a strong understanding of media planning / strategy and buying with expertise in both strategic development and this client-facing role youll lead the creation of tactical media plans generate strategic insights manage campaigns from start to finish and provide guidance on campaign optimization. You will oversee the day-to-day execution of media plans mentor the team and ensure campaign success.

You will focus on managing direct buys across HCP and DTC media channels. You will lead the selection and negotiation with media partners ensuring campaigns align with client goals. Your expertise with tools like Prisma and research platforms will ensure seamless execution and optimization.

Responsibilities Planning Responsibilities

Lead the media planning kick-off to ensure strategic direction and alignment with client goals.

Stay informed about marketplace competitive and target trends to guide planning decisions.

Use EVERSANA INTOUCHs planning evaluation and buying tools for landscape analysis and media plan development.

Drive audience insights and channel strategy to optimize targeting and media effectiveness.

Develop and articulate media strategies including media channel mix budget allocation and rationale to ensure the team is set up for success.

Collaborate with channel experts to create a holistic integrated media approach aligned with client goals.

Coordinate the creation and presentation of media strategies and plans to clients.

Lead weekly status meetings and take ownership of status documents.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and client needs.

Assist the Director and / or Group Media Director in achieving cross-channel media plan goals

Buying Responsibilities

Own the RFP process rank proposals and contribute to vendor negotiations and media partner selection.

Oversee campaign execution including the day-to-day implementation optimization and reconciliation of campaigns.

Ensure accurate budget management media buys and reconciliation optimizing spend as needed.

Approve media activation documentation and ensure it aligns with client deliverables.

Guide planners and senior planners in developing accurate traffic sheets managing trafficking and creating accurate traffic sheets and Creative Asset Trackers (MRD) in alignment with Account Management / PMs to meet client / campaign requirements

Ensure successful tracking optimization and reporting of all campaigns collaborating with analytics teams to provide insights for monthly and quarterly reporting (QBRs).

Oversee billing processes ensuring accuracy resolving discrepancies and meeting deadlines.

Collaborate with activation channel experts to create a holistic media approach

Collaborate with Account Management PMs creative and Data Science / Analytics teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Maintain communication with the VP Group Media Director and Director on campaign updates and issues.

Mentor Senior Associates on traffic workbooks and media buys.

Provide insights and recommendations to support new business development when needed.

Qualifications Required skills / experience

5 years of active experience in a media planning and / or buying role (digital is a priority) preferably with an agency

Pharma media experience touching on a diverse set of conditions disease states and audiences (DTC HCP Payer) is a plus.

Experience with syndicated planning tools (e.g. MRI / Simmons Vivvix Pathmatics Nielsen)

Experience in managing multiple accounts campaigns and clients

Experience within Prisma or MediaOcean is required

Experience with Campaign Manager 360

Familiarity with the total marketing process and the strategic role of media

Leadership experience including managing and mentoring teams is a plus

BA / BS degree is a plus

Strong written presentation verbal interpersonal and organizational skills

Critical thinking problem-solving and strong negotiation abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects clients and accounts in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint) with advanced proficiency in Excel

Proficiency in media management billing systems and competitive / targeting tools

Solid understanding of marketing advertising media concepts and budget requirements.

Experience with third-party ad servers

Ability to work cross-channel and in an integrated manner across digital and offline media channels

Detail-oriented with a commitment to follow-through and process improvement

Strong leadership skills and excitement to manage and grow teams

Ability to navigate cross-department relationships effectively

Salary EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $76000.00 to $103000.00 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience other job-related qualifications / skills and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time
