About the Position Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an In‑Patient Oncology Registered Nurse. With its 318 beds, this non‑profit, full‑service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24‑hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus also houses Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and a new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
Unit Details 25 bed Oncology unit with a BMT specialty component, an emphasis on the acute hematology patients and symptom management for all persons experiencing issues related to their cancer diagnosis.

12‑hour Night shifts (7p to 7a)
Minimum Education and Experience
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
1+ year RN experience
Chemo/bio‑Therapy Certification preferred or obtain within 1 year of hire; fully paid for by Sibley Memorial Hospital.
AHA CPR card
Salary Range Minimum 41.99/hour – Maximum 65.08/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
