Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Governance
Analyze platform data structures, relationships, and usage across modules (e.g., CMDB, Incident, Request, Asset).
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance policies.
Collaborate with data stewards and owners to define and enforce data standards.
Requirements Gathering
Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to ServiceNow data.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Platform Support
Support ServiceNow modules by identifying data-related issues and recommending solutions.
Assist in testing and validating data changes, enhancements, and integrations.
Reporting & Insights
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into platform data health and usage.
Support audit and compliance reporting needs.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with developers, administrators, and business units to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on data best practices within ServiceNow.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with ServiceNow. Strong understanding of ServiceNow data architecture, especially CMDB and core tables. Experience with data governance, data quality, and reporting tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Business Analyst.
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics or Reporting.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.
