In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in building innovative, bespoke social campaigns that support key categories and drive meaningful brand growth.

As

Manager, Social Brand Building , you will work closely with Integrated Marketing and brand partners to develop forward-thinking social media campaigns that supercharge strategic categories. Your expertise will enable Ulta Beauty to stand out in the ever-evolving beauty landscape, delivering exceptional, results-driven strategies that amplify brand visibility, elevate category leadership, and foster deeper connections with consumers.

The ideal candidate will have a social media marketing background, be detail-oriented, have strong collaboration skills, and possess a passion for beauty and an aptitude for retail.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop Bespoke Social Strategies:

Design and implement customized social media campaigns that support priority categories, elevate brand partnerships, and align with Ulta Beauty’s strategic goals.

Lead Category-Specific Initiatives:

Partner with Integrated Marketing and category merchants to create breakthrough social activations for new launches, established brands, and emerging partners.

Drive Collaboration:

Build reciprocal partnerships with key stakeholders, including internal teams (paid media, merchandising, creative, customer growth marketing) and external brand partners, to ensure seamless and cohesive execution of campaigns.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Leverage performance insights and learnings from previous campaigns to continuously refine and optimize social strategies for future success.

Innovate with Purpose:

Stay informed on emerging trends, cultural insights, and competitive dynamics to develop campaigns that are timely, relevant, and differentiated.

Budget Oversight:

Partner with budget owners to align social media spend with broader marketing investments and ensure efficient resource allocation.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS

Experience:

5+ years in social media strategy and/or influencer strategy with a strong track record of driving measurable results through integrated campaigns.

Strategic Vision:

Ability to translate data, insights, and cultural trends into innovative social strategies that deliver business impact.

Collaboration Skills:

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships across internal and external partners.

Creative Excellence:

Expertise in developing and managing creative campaigns, with experience working closely with in-house or agency partners.

Analytical Mindset:

Comfort with analyzing campaign performance data to inform strategy and optimize execution.

Industry Knowledge:

Passion for beauty, retail, and social media, with a finger on the pulse of consumer behavior and market trends.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Adaptability:

Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $120,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
