We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile
Business Analyst with SAP experience
to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business operations and IT, leveraging SAP ERP system to drive process optimization and enterprise efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business process understanding, with hands-on experience in ERP implementations. This position will evolve into supporting ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O technology.
This position will be in a continuous process/system improvement role working primarily with enterprise systems and related tools to provide improved process solutions for site and global operations. In addition, this position will work closely with the operating center/company team members to identify and prioritize business system improvements and new capabilities aligned with the corporate goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and technical non-functional requirements including scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for SAP Business One modules.
Test SAP solutions and features to support business objectives.
Support ERP implementation projects, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements using SAP tools.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
Support/test the integrations with the SAP ERP and other enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics, reporting tools).
Manage project timelines, priorities, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure compliance with IT standards, data governance, and industry regulations.
Partner with the leadership team and functional SME s to define and execute enhancements and to increase adoption of primary business systems including ERP, CRM, analytics, etc. to drive business performance improvements.
Ensure business users are trained in the system functionality, best practices, and business process related to IT solutions.
Serve as key subject matter expert on the company’s primary business systems introducing opportunities for improvement as well as bringing new opportunities that drive efficiency, cost, or speed benefits.
Utilize agile practices such as user stories and backlogs to document and prioritize features.
Ensure the expected value is realized by effectively managing vendor partners.
Must be able to work in all phases of the development cycle.
Collaborate with business members to create business cases to seek funding approval.
Build out project schedules, priorities, and timelines and communicate them in governance meetings.
Ability to clarify and support corporate IT standards balanced with Operating Company needs is critical.
PREFERRED RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
Experience with ERP implementations such as SAP Business One ERP and D365 F&O.
Experience with Salesforce CRM solution/implementations.
SAP certification preferred.
Demonstrated functional process experience in manufacturing environments.
Proficient with Crystal reporting
POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or information systems with 5+ plus years of industry experience.
Demonstrated experience using mainstream ERP systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP business analysis or ERP implementation.
Proficiency in SAP Business One and S4/HANA ERP modules and integration techniques.
Experience with SQL, T-SQL, and database management.
Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations workflows.
Proficient understanding of agile delivery methodology.
Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in trouble shooting and proactive problem solving.
Strong documentation and business case development skills.
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Crystal reporting, etc.).
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Effective communication skills, comfortable communicating about technical topics and business processes with an understanding of the financial and business benefits.
Self-starter with high energy, sense of urgency, and a can-do attitude.
Comfort working in a matrix environment functionally aligned with the IT organization but oriented towards partnering with the business.
Experience with industry recognized development and testing methodologies and software validation.
Experience with SQL database management, reporting, and scripting.
Knowledge in cloud technologies and third-party software integration.
Must be highly analytical and can prioritize and handle multiple projects, various team sizes, and complexities.
Willingness to be hands-on in execution and support of project implementation and process improvements.
