Overview As the Executive Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for the CEO across all of Jiko. You will be supporting the CEO in day-to-day administrative responsibilities, project-based support, scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, research, dictating, aiding in presentations and proposals, attending meetings, correspondence, and acting as liaison with senior management.
Responsibilities Gatekeeper of time - manage requests based on priority while maintaining an excellent service experience
Prioritize, coordinate, maintain, and manage calendars with sharp detail across time zones
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting agendas for Board Meetings, Investor meetings, and senior leadership meetings
Prepare the CEO for meetings, media interviews, conference panels, by gathering materials and background information
Act as primary liaison between the CEO and external constituencies
Coordinate international and domestic travel logistics, including flight itineraries, hotel rates, reservations, and car services
Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues addressed to the CEO; determine appropriate course of action
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and exercise discretion as needed
Draft acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks to facilitate the CEO’s leadership
Organize team events (offsite trips and QBR) with remote and in-person attendees
Provide flexible and reliable executive support by coordinating with the CEO
Support personal affairs, including coordinating personal calendars and family appointments as needed
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant role supporting C-Suite executives
Experience supporting executives who work with Investors and Board Members
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion
Calm demeanor with command, ownership, and follow-through
Strong work ethic and ability to manage a diverse workload
Flexible with a sense of humor and excitement for working in a fast-paced startup
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in G Suite and Zoom
Experience in Finance/Fintech preferred
