Overview

General Purpose: Responsible for completing all janitorial duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean all ash trays and refill restroom dispensers.
• Use and maintain vacuums, brooms, mops and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. USE AS DIRECTED.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.

Qualifications

• General janitorial experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to lift at least 30lbs

• Bending/Squatting is required throughout the day while mopping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
