Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be crucial in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, performing routine cleaning tasks, including restrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, blowing debris, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the BBQs
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and equipment upkeep.
• Provide custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the facility/Campus.
• Regularly inspect facilities for maintenance needs and report issues to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred, with 2-3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Able to cover when someone is sick during the weekdays.
