Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Scheduler/Planner is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of products while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems to manage material availability, production capacity, and workflow coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

Utilize ERP/MRP systems to plan and release work orders, track progress, and adjust schedules as needed.

Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure schedule adherence and resolve conflicts or delays.

Analyze material requirements and ensure availability of components to meet production deadlines.

Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improvement.

Maintain accurate data in ERP systems, including work order status, lead times, and capacity planning data.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and production efficiency.

Prepare and distribute production reports and forecasts for management review.

Communicate changes or updates to schedules promptly to all relevant departments.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field .

Experience:

3+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong

ERP/MRP system experience

(such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JD Edwards, or similar).

Skills:

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning tools.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Physical and Work Environment:

Primarily office and manufacturing floor environment.
