Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Starting Pay:
$19.30 - $23.25 per hour TRC Talent is looking to hire a detail-oriented
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
for a first-shift role. In this position, you will support the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Shipping & Receiving Department. You'll work closely with carriers, customers, customer service, scheduling, and production to ensure smooth and accurate shipping and receiving processes. Why You'll Love This Opportunity

Follow all safety procedures and participate in proactive safety programs. Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments to meet customer deadlines. Track inbound freight and verify quantities against paperwork. Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, product certifications, export documents, etc.) Safely operate forklifts. Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Stretch wrap finished goods. Use the company ERP system and PC software to create and maintain reports. Conduct or delegate weekly inventory of packaging supplies. Receive and distribute incoming supplies. Complete required ISO, GMP, and HACCP documentation. Maintain strong communication with customer service, scheduling, quality, production, and purchasing. Participate in monthly inventory counts (may occasionally occur on Saturdays). Attend departmental planning meetings to support process effectiveness. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring
Experience & Education Minimum of 2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience. Experience with domestic and international shipping and documentation. Forklift experience required. Computer literacy required. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred). Language Skills: Fluent in English (verbal and written). Able to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Able to complete reports and follow verbal instructions. Able to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages. Reasoning Skills: Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions. Ability to apply practical problem-solving in real work scenarios. Physical Requirements
Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Rarely lift/move up to 90 lbs. with assistance. Vision requirements: close, distance, color, and depth perception. Work Environment
Occasional exposure to moving machinery, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, or loud noise (hearing protection provided). Possible exposure to hot/humid or outdoor environments (heat, cold, wet conditions). Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
