The Trade Sales Senior Analyst is responsible for driving analysis, reporting and insights across Trade Sales. This role will track KPIs and deliver reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of the Trade channel. Trade Sales is a fast-growing channel reliant on data-driven decision-making to further accelerate growth. This role collaborates very closely with the Trade management team to make effective decisions informed by data.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain key daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and dashboards, providing analysis and insights to leadership.

Monitor and report on sales trends by channel, account, and territory; deliver strategic recommendations.

Integrate then analyze data from multiple sources to create reporting and identify insights to inform data-driven decision making.

Forecast, and assess, the performance of sales plans and tactics, including the effectiveness of Co-Op spend, Over commissions, P4P, Coverts or any special offers

Collaborate with Finance to forecast revenues by individual, team, and department; track performance against budget and update forecasts.

Manage sales incentive commissions and cost-of-sale analysis, including eligibility calculations and payment reporting.

Close collaboration on reporting and insights with the Trade leadership team, often with multiple touchpoints per day on different topics.

Share approach and insights in a way that is easy for management to understand.

Provide data-driven insights to inform targeted action plans for under-penetrated or underperforming accounts.

Prepare client-facing reports and dashboards for use in sales presentations to current and prospective partners.

Provide materials and insights for planning meetings, including competitive intelligence, demographic trends, and pricing/category analysis.

Participate in strategic partner engagements, including top account calls, providing data-driven insights.

Develop standardized sales templates and scalable reporting solutions; where practical, automate reporting and queries.

Train team members on tools and processes; document procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

Recommend process improvements based on feedback and emerging trends.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a commercial analysis role, preferably within travel, hospitality, casino or consumer brands; or experience with top-tier management consulting on commercial strategy engagements in these industries.

Highly organized with experience in recurring reporting and special analyses; data should be structured with clear approach and assumptions.

Advanced Excel skills are essential.

Proficiency in data analysis tools, including PowerBI or Tableau, Dataiku or Databricks.

Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles; able to analyze marketing ROI per channel and monitor/report lead/call volumes and financial performance.

Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present recommendations to diverse audiences.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
