Summary : Utilize Microsoft Business Intelligence tools to develop and support operational, clinical, and financial analysis. Support Data Scientists with Microsoft SQL queries and processes.
Essential Functions :
Work with end users, analysts, technical staff, and team members to plan, design, develop, implement, and enhance business intelligence capabilities using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools.
Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting issues with existing cubes, queries, and processes.
Develop efficient Microsoft SQL queries and data processes for Data Scientists on the team in support of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Assist end users as a subject matter expert on existing company data, processes, and business intelligence tools.
Create clear documentation for users and technical staff.
Follow established change control and versioning policies as pursuant with company standards and best practices.
Serve as project manager for relevant analytics projects, including meeting facilitation, resource management, and stakeholder expectation setting.
Provide training and mentorship to the team and end users on key analytic and reporting systems and databases when necessary.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required. Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a business intelligence developer or similar role required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities :
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence data engineering tools.
Expertise in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
Knowledge of programming languages and statistical analysis techniques is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
