Brigham Physicians Group, Primary Care BWH Chestnut Hill MA Full time/ 40 Hours

Brigham Physicians Group (BPG) is an established, teaching primary care practice of Brigham and Women's Hospital dedicated to providing multi-disciplinary, exceptional care to our community. We are a diverse and dynamic team focused on adult preventative medicine and chronic disease management.

The practice is located within the BWH Health Center at Chestnut Hill, just 1 mile from the Chestnut Hill Mall. The Center offers many of the same services found on the main campus, including laboratory, radiology and specialty care, and our physicians are on staff at the BWH.

BPG is Certified as a level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home, which reinforces our long-standing commitment to comprehensive team-based care.

Job Summary Directs, plans and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. May provide direct patient care.

Essential Functions

Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.

Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff.

Ensures a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors and staff.

Coordinating unit activities with other hospital departments of the hospital

Develops and implements staffing plans.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree Nursing required; Master's Degree Nursing preferred.

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials

Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required.

Certification required at start or within 2 years of start date; Ambulatory / ANCC certification preferred.

Basic Life Support [BLS] Certificate preferred.

Experience

Nursing experience 2-3 years required.

Nursing leadership experience 1-2 years preferred.

Primary Care or ambulatory experience in a clinical nursing or leadership position preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong commitment to clinical excellence.

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
