Directs, plans and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. May provide direct patient care. Essential Functions
Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff. Ensure a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments. Develop and implement staffing plans. Required for All Jobs
Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Requires patient care (direct/indirect): Yes. Qualifications
Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing required; Master's Degree Nursing preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No. Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required. Certification required at start or within 2 years of start date; Ambulatory / ANCC certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate preferred. Experience 2-3 years nursing experience required. 1-2 years nursing leadership experience preferred. Primary Care or ambulatory experience in a clinical nursing or leadership position preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Strong commitment to clinical excellence. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided. Additional Job Details
