As part of our California team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water challenges locally and worldwide. You’ll work with our world‑class Instrumentation and Control Systems team dedicated to protecting the most valuable asset in the world, water.
Job description: You are a proactive and experienced Electrical and I&C Commissioning Coordinator, supporting startup and commissioning for a large‑scale infrastructure project. You will coordinate between the Contractor’s Startup and Commissioning team and the onsite Design Team, ensuring smooth execution during Component and Functional testing. Responsibilities include organizing engineer‑led training sessions, facilitating communication and troubleshooting between contractors and the design team during testing, and supporting onsite integration efforts. You will assist in managing contractor activities and resources, attend regular startup and commissioning meetings, and provide support in client and construction management interactions by delivering updates and helping resolve technical issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Knowledge of electrical and I&C systems
Strong wastewater startup experience
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (client PMs, CM group, plant operations)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work on the construction site 1 to 2 days per week.
Ideal: Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems and/or Electrical design experience
Ideal: Experience with PLCs and HMI programming software
