Infosys is seeking an RF Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Greenwood Village, CO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

RF engineer with minimum 4 years of experience in cable service provider network, with knowledge on RF frequency spectrum, tools.

Support and optimize Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) network deployments, including node splits, amplifier balancing, and plant health monitoring.

Provide operational and engineering support for legacy CMTS and virtual CMTS (vCMTS) platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Remote PHY (RPHY) devices and associated transport infrastructure (e.g., DAA architecture).

Preferred Qualifications

Analyze telemetry and performance data from cable modems, CMTS, and RPDs to identify RF impairments and proactively resolve service-impacting issues.

Collaborate with field technicians and NOC teams to resolve RF-related faults, perform sweep and alignment, and maintain signal integrity across the network.

Assist in capacity planning, network upgrades, and integration of new technologies to support evolving broadband service demands.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
