What you will do
As the Associate Manager, Demand Planning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the demand strategy for our Sports Medicine product portfolio. Leading a team of Demand Planners and Analysts, you’ll ensure accurate forecasting, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Global Planning teams. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can balance analytics with business insight to drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Lead & Develop Talent – Manage and mentor a team of planners and analysts to deliver accurate demand forecasts and build organizational capability
Forecast with Precision – Oversee statistical modeling and data analysis (sales trends, promotions, market shifts, budgets) to create reliable, data-driven demand plans
Optimize Inventory & Costs – Drive strategies that reduce excess inventory while ensuring high service levels and product availability for customers
Collaborate Globally – Partner with IBP and Demand Planning leaders worldwide to standardize processes and align global planning strategies
Support Product Lifecycle – Work closely with Marketing and NPD teams to plan launches, manage lifecycle transitions, and present rationalization recommendations
Enable Business Decisions – Provide executive-ready insights and demand signals to inform supply chain capacity, sales alignment, and financial planning
Drive Continuous Improvement – Champion new processes, tools, and KPIs to enhance forecast accuracy, demand visibility, and planning efficiency
Influence Through Data – Facilitate divisional IBP meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to build consensus-driven, actionable forecasts
What you need Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance or a related field
6 years of exp in inventory, planning, order management or relevant experience
Experience with demand planning tools like Oracle Demantra, Demand Solutions or SteelWedge
Preferred Qualifications
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent)
People leadership experience, with a track record of developing teams and driving results through coaching and collaboration
Salary:
$87,600.00 - $186,700.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
