Oversee the development and maintenance of the system of internal accounting controls, to safeguard the assets of the company, provide reliable, accurate and timely financial information to all appropriate levels of Management. Responsible for providing all necessary financial information to corporate and all required agencies.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for the operation of the Casino Cage and Credit, Slot drop, Count rooms, casino Revenue Audit functions, Accounts Payable, Payroll and all general accounting functions;
Hires, reviews, and evaluates the performance of the Cage/Credit Manager, and Controller;
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments;
Familiar with and ensures adherence to the regulations of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, Mississippi State Tax Commission, US Treasury Department (applicable to casinos) and other state/federal agencies as applicable;
Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors or better in Accounting.
Bachelors or better in Finance.
Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group.
