Responsible for all finance functions including the preparation and control of records and data stored data, unused forms, the accounting for and comparison of operational data and forms, and supervision of the inventory of gaming chips, the issuance of credit, the main Cage, satellite cages, and the count room. Supervises all aspects of the Finance department. Approves credit under internal control section 609a.4 Plans, communicates, and implements procedures for the overall efficient operation of areas of Reviews internal controls, standard operating procedures, and the company's policies and procedures and ensuring the department is complying with the regulation. Responsible for coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the property's budget and financial reporting. Monitors and analyzes results of financial performance. Reviews Financial Statements, supporting documentation, gaming-related data and information through online and manual documentation. Oversees all aspects of the property cash and accounts. Responsible for maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, State & Federal government regulations, and internal controls. Reviews staffing levels to maintain optimum levels of employment. Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the development, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating of Finance department Any other assigned duties and responsibilities Detailed descriptions of experience or educational requirements: Ten years' experience in casino accounting as a Controller or Financial Manager/Officer 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience Graduate degree MBA with finance management preferred. CPA or other professional accreditation preferred Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification. Must complete all the necessary company training.
