We're looking for an
upbeat, professional, and reliable Dental Assistant
to join our multi-specialty office in
Alpharetta, GA , where we care for patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is certified, passionate about patient care, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Explain office procedures to patients prior to treatment. Provide quality and compassionate care before, during, and after dental procedures. Manage patient comfort and safety during treatments. Accurately chart pre-existing conditions and input patient progress notes. Deliver post-op instructions following surgery or restorative procedures. Take impressions for study models. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Take and develop x-rays; collect and record patient health histories. Serve as infection control officer: develop protocols and sterilize
instruments/equipment. Monitor and report operatory equipment and handpiece repairs; maintain repair logs. Complete
daily/weekly/monthly
tasks (e.g., autoclave testing, trap cleaning). Assist with monthly supply orders. Support recall and treatment plan reports when requested. Adhere to all government and company regulations. Provide direct patient care across specialties including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. Qualifications
Experience in customer service and strong computer skills. Upbeat attitude and outgoing personality - a must! Ability to multitask effectively. Team player and people person. Requirements
Dental Assistant certification. Excellent chairside manner. Adaptability to different techniques and patient needs. Ability to work under pressure and a drive to grow professionally. Commitment to following policies and procedures. Bilingual candidates are a plus! Salary based on experience. Schedule:
