We're looking for an

upbeat, professional, and reliable

traveling dental assistant to join our multi-specialty practice, serving patients of all ages. If you have experience assisting with

IV sedation and oral surgeries , we encourage you to apply today! Position Type

Part-Time / Full-Time:

3-4 days per week Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including IV sedation and oral surgeries Explain office procedures to patients prior to treatment Provide compassionate care before, during, and after treatment Manage patients during procedures Accurately chart pre-existing conditions and input progress notes Deliver post-op instructions following surgery or restorative procedures Take impressions for study casts Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment Take and develop x-rays; collect and record health histories Serve as infection control officer: develop protocols and sterilize equipment Monitor and follow up on equipment and handpiece repairs Complete

daily/weekly/monthly

tasks (e.g., autoclave testing, trap cleaning) Assist with monthly supply orders Support recall and treatment plan reports when requested Adhere to all government and company regulations Provide direct patient care across specialties including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery Qualifications

Experience in customer service and strong computer skills Upbeat attitude and outgoing personality - a must! Ability to multitask effectively Team player with reliable transportation Requirements

Willingness to travel between

Hiram, Cartersville, and Decatur

locations Dental assisting experience in
