Diagnostic Radiological Technologist Lead
Performs imaging procedures. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Supervises shift. Education, Training, Experience, Certification and Licensure: Satisfactory completion of formal imaging school and meets AMA approved school and meets requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. New York State Department of Health License. Participates in orientation and continuing education, updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. CPR/BLS Certification. Special Equipment, Skills or Other Requirements: Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability. Work Environment and Hazards: OSHA category I Routine or potential exposure to blood body fluids, secretions. Physical Demands: Medium work: standing, walking, pulling and lifting. Work Contact Group: All services, staff, physicians, patients, visitors, vendors, contractors, various regulatory, and professional agency staff. Supervised By: Clinical Coordinator General Performance Criteria: Diagnostic Radiological Technologist Lead: Operates equipment/machinery within Medical Imaging Services. Maintains equipment/machinery within Medical Imaging Services. Performs preventive maintenance procedures. Adheres to safety standards within medical Imaging Services. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures. Supervises clinical staff in absence of Clinical Coordinator. Performs supervisory tasks dedicated by Clinical Coordinator. Pay Range: $32.25-45.70 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
