Locums - Kearney, Nebraska Position: OB HospitalistIMLC Accepted Key Details
  • Coverage Dates: January 16 - January 18 (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
  • Setting: Acute care inpatient/outpatient hospital
  • Facility Size: 268-bed regional referral center
  • Reason for Coverage: Gap coverage for Contemporary Obstetrics and Gynecology, P.C., the only OB/GYN group in town covering both GSH & KRMC
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support Staff: Inpatient coverage only - hospital staff
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 OB/GYN services during shift
  • On-call to the ED for precipitous deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
  • Gynecology call to ED for consultations and treatments as needed
  • Perform major and minor abdominal/vaginal surgeries involving the female pelvis and related structures
  • Diagnose and manage conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum
Patient Volume
  • Approximately 1-5 patients per day
  • Orientation schedule provided closer to start date
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology - Required
  • Nebraska License or IMLC with active LOQ - Required
  • Completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited OB/GYN Residency Program - Required
