We are looking for an Account Executive based in Montreal or Toronto in Canada, or Raleigh or Austin in the United States. This role is full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature, with ownership and accountability within a defined market. Responsibilities

New Logo Sales – Close new accounts and consistently hit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually. Prospecting – Contribute to pipeline through self-outbound efforts in addition to provided leads from marketing and the BDR team. Lead Conversion – Nurture warm leads through the sales cycle to close. Presentation – Conduct discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, and closing calls. Forecast – Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales within +/- 15%. Organize – Manage multiple tasks (leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups) and stay organized. Systems – Master the use of Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other tools. Getting Better Every Day – Engage in onboarding and ongoing coaching and feedback. Thought Leadership – Learn about the industry and develop a passion for MaintainX. Startup Mentality – Embrace an entrepreneurial, grind-it-out approach. About you

2+ years of total sales experience in a closing role. Documented success as a closer. Ability to articulate metrics and data. Willingness to prospect and build your own pipeline. Experience conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations. Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and maintaining high energy. Outstanding verbal and written communication. Extremely detail-oriented and organized. Positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character personality. BA degree or higher. Bonus if you have

Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc. Experience with startups and entrepreneurial environments. Experience in CMMS or facility operations software. Documented success working in a remote setting. What’s in it for you
