A Typical Day The

Assistant Vice President Default Servicing

is responsible for implementing and managing a line of business specific call monitoring process and Post Mortem QA/QC audit process. As the

AVP Default Servicing , you will be responsible for supporting Default Servicing in a Project Management capacity – analysis, design, training, testing, implementation and support of targeted solutions.

The

Assistant VP Default Servicing

will:

Manage a QA/QC group that verifies through a combination of QA/QC, Call Monitoring and target reviews, adequate review is being conducted to ensure that compliance policies and procedures are being followed

Gather, investigate and review information and conduct research and/or testing, as necessary

Participate in the complaint management system and service provider programs, including supervising periodic audits

Act as internal consultant to Legal and Business Unit Compliance Officers to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into operations along with training programs and monitoring plans

Work with senior management, risk management, finance and other functional areas to provide analytics regarding the performance of the Default Loan Servicing

Develop prototype test plans and act as liaison between client community and technical staff, as well as with vendors and end users to create and execute project plans and schedules

Perform other related duties as required and assigned

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience

5+ years management experience in the mortgage industry required

5+ year’s previous experience in a compliance role in the mortgage lending/banking industry. Currently working knowledge of servicing compliance, the CFPB, and state and regulatory requirements in mortgage servicing

Subject matter expert in Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA and broad knowledge of federal, state, and CFPB requirements

Requires experience with Corporate Compliance Program management; Legal and Mortgage Compliance experience, including supervisory/management experience

Basic SQL programming a plus

Compensation Compensation:

Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary

$68,000 - $115,000
