Job Summary Are you ready to lead, inspire and make an impact? Eastside Catholic is seeking a passionate and driven High School Girls Lacrosse JV Coach to guide our team to new heights. Reporting to the Head Coach, you’ll assist and lead all functions of the game as directed. You’ll mentor student-athletes, sharpen their skills and help them grow into confident leaders—both in competition and in life. The role runs primarily through the spring season (March-May) with additional opportunities for off-season development.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, games and team activities.

Support the implementation of the program’s philosophy, goals and expectations.

Teach fundamental skills, techniques and strategies appropriate to the sport and student-athlete level.

Promote teamwork, discipline, respect and positive sportsmanship at all times.

Help monitor the academic progress and personal growth of student-athletes.

Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing proper training and equipment use.

Assist with game-day operations, travel logistics and communication with athletes and parents as directed.

Model behavior that exemplifies our EC Core Covenants.

Maintain compliance with WIAA, school district and school athletic policies.

Attend all required meetings, trainings and WIAA rules clinics.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Requirements

Meets WIAA coaching standards and complete required certifications/training (First Aid, CPR, concussion and cardiac arrest).

Has successfully completed a school background check, fingerprinting and Safe Environment training prior to the season.

Knowledge of sport rules, safety practices and coaching fundamentals.

Positive, responsible and team-oriented coaching style with strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to motivate, teach and support student-athletes in their athletic and academic growth.

Works effectively with assistant coaches, staff and the Athletic Department.

Previous coaching or playing experience required; head coach or college-level coaching experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Stipend: $2,500-$3,000 paid over the season #J-18808-Ljbffr
