Executive Sous Chef Requirements
Must have a minimum of 4 years of management experience in a fine dining restaurant environment
Experienced with Toast, Paylocity, and Margin Edge.
Proficient in scheduling, purchasing, and reporting (especially food cost).
Substantial experience in administrative tasks, such as putting recipes together, creating SOPs, managing COGS, and general computer-based tasks.
Comfortable working all night shifts, including weekends and Sunday brunch.
Fine-dining / upscale restaurant / hotel experience.
Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of the kitchen, such as menu plans, operations, recipes, portion and inventory control, food quality, and employee supervision
Must provide a consistent product and experience achieving revenue targets and managing costs
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and management team to ensure the kitchen operates seamlessly
Supervise food preparation, presentation, and quality to maintain the highest culinary standards
Support the implementation and enforcement of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Contribute to inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
