Overview The Healthcare Market Development Manager is a senior-level sales leader responsible for driving strategic growth within the healthcare vertical across a defined market. Reporting directly to the Market Vice-President, this individual serves as a key champion for the healthcare vertical—advocating for innovative solutions, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with evolving industry trends and customer needs. This role plays a critical part in executing targeted sales strategies, expanding market share, and building long-term partnerships with healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute comprehensive market-specific strategies to drive new business and expand existing accounts using Konica Minolta's print and digital transformation (DX) solutions.

Collaborate with field sales teams to deepen engagement and increase wallet share within existing healthcare accounts.

Lead and support customer engagement initiatives including periodic account reviews, annual technology business reviews, and solution optimization discussions.

Actively participate in RFP responses, pricing strategy development, and contract negotiations to secure long-term partnerships.

Healthcare Vertical Leadership

Serve as the market's subject matter expert and advocate for healthcare solutions, ensuring alignment with national healthcare strategy and offerings.

Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy and customer conversations.

Promote and position Konica Minolta's healthcare portfolio including Revenue Cycle Management, HIPAA Compliance, Cybersecurity, Referral Management, Document Management, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within healthcare organizations.

Represent the company in strategic meetings, executive briefings, and solution presentations to drive customer value and loyalty.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and solution delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

7-10 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in healthcare, with a proven track record of driving growth, securing new business, and expanding existing accounts in a high-growth environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to see the big picture, anticipate market trends, and align sales strategies with broader business objectives. Ability to engage in discussions with C-Suite.

Navigates change effectively, adjusts strategies in response to evolving market conditions, and leads others through uncertainty.

Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and driving results through collaboration, even without direct reporting lines.

Communicates with clarity, confidence, and credibility across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Deep understanding of healthcare operations and technology, including Revenue Cycle Management, HIPAA Compliance, Cybersecurity, Referral Management, Document Management, and RPA.

Familiarity with Managed IT Services and Intelligent Information Management (IIM) solutions.
