JOB TITLE – Mitigation Project Manager Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced restoration professional to serve as the Lead Mitigation Project Manager for our newest Insurcomm branch in the Ohio market. This role is critical in launching, growing, and sustaining the branch’s operations. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of mitigation/restoration experience, proven leadership skills, and the ability to take charge in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Summary:
The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for obtaining fire, water, wind, vandalism and other restoration projects, and is expected to handle $1,000,000 worth of projects on a yearly basis. They are also responsible for providing an accurate scope of work and writing an accurate estimate that will allow for profitable production of the project. Salary:
$85,000-105,000 annually Duties
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all Insurcomm mitigation service lines i.e. Water, Fire, Smoke, Mold, Contents Document required scope of work on projects and write a comprehensive estimate utilizing the Xactimate estimating platform. Analyze accuracy of estimate at completion of project. Revise and negotiate estimates as necessary with insurance adjusters. Responsible for creating and negotiating any change orders necessary in the execution of the project. Direct, schedule and lead production teams in the execution of the scope of work required for the project. Hold production teams (restoration technicians) accountable to all company standards and required job duties. Provide necessary quality control and execute corrective actions on all projects. Hold teams accountable for safety related issues and support Insurcomm’s core value of “Safety First, always” in every facet of the workday. Work closely with finance team on all AR/AP related responsibilities to include creating invoices, collecting AR, and working within an expense reporting platform. Daily communication with Project Coordinator to help facilitate customer communication and documentation requirements within the job management platform (PSA) Responsible for asset tracking and inventory for materials used on jobs. Follow company policy concerning job workflow procedures. Attend weekly update meetings with RVP Leadership Responsibilities
Provide coaching, leadership and guidance to the mitigation staff. Assist Regional Vice President in training new and existing employees, so there is opportunity for advancement. Oversee all production on assigned projects, including final walk through with a crew chief, to ensure quality control and completion of scope of all jobs completed. Requirements
3-5 years of proven Mitigation Project Manager experience. 1-3 years of experience of running TPA jobs & MICA requirements. Some experience running reconstruction jobs. Strong communication skills. A valid IICRC WRT Certification. Valid IICRC AMRT, FSRT, TCST, OCT, CCT certifications are . EEO Policy
