We are seeking a proactive, systems-thinking, and technically fluent Data & Process Analyst to join our Transportation Automation team. In this role, you will support the automation across core logistics processes using Azure-based tools, scripting languages, and RPA platforms like UiPath. You will support full-lifecycle process automation, manage robot development pipelines, and help scale digital operations through advanced orchestration. This role is distinct from analytics delivery and is focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing automation frameworks, workflows, and backend integrations. This is a remote position based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy automated solutions for logistics workflows using Python, SQL, Typescript, HTML, VB, and UiPath.

Support the full RPA lifecycle, including process design, bot development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Familiar with automation notebooks to prototype and operationalize workflow logic.

Build and maintain automation pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake.

Integrate backend processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot and Copilot Agents).

Conduct process mining and task capture to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

Collaborate with operations teams to design scalable workflows and reusable automation components.

Maintain automation documentation in Confluence and track delivery cycles in Jira.

Define and monitor automation KPIs (e.g., bot uptime, process time reduction, run frequency).

Version control workflows and maintain a library of reusable automation components.

Stay up to date with hyper automation trends including SLM agents, ML triggers, and orchestration patterns.

Perform other related duties as required.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field.

UiPath Developer certification and/or Microsoft Azure certifications strongly preferred.

2-4 years of experience in RPA development, workflow automation, or systems integration required.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Power BI, Power Automation, and Microsoft suite of programs required.

Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations preferred.

Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management System preferred.

Knowledge of SQL and Python required.

Requirements / Skills

Proficiency in Python, SQL, JSON, HTML (for web UI automation) required.

Familiarity with VB.NET and C# for UiPath custom logic and expressions.

Advanced experience with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Queues, and Automation Hub) or equivalent RPA platforms.

Strong experience with Azure-based orchestration: Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Data Lake.

Hands-on experience developing and deploying automation logic using notebooks.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric tools and their role in backend process execution.

Proficient in Confluence and Jira for agile documentation and project tracking.

Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, Power Automate Process Advisor).

Exposure to bot observability, orchestration SLAs, and automation governance frameworks.

Excellent organizational, communication, written and verbal skills; ability to multi-task and handle multi-projects simultaneously.

Analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
