FDOT Roadway Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) FM
Proficient in the installation, programming, integration and maintenance of typical ITS components: IP Cameras and Digital Video Systems, Dynamic Message Signs, Vehicle Detection Systems, Wrong Way Vehicle Detection (WWVD) Systems, Edge‑Computing Technology, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, Communications Networks, Ramp Metering, Ground Mount and Pole Mount Cabinets, UPS Devices.
Perform underground cabling locating and components inventory.
Troubleshoot wiring, hardware and software problems.
Adjust, repair, replace and modify electrical components and related parts.
Operate Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturer‑specific software.
Inspect, drive and operate aerial equipment such as bucket trucks and manlifts.
Qualifications & Benefits
Valid Driver’s License Required, CDL (company‑sponsored CDL available).
Willing to work in all elements year round.
Full health and pension benefits from local union. Company PTO program available.
Starting wages: $32/hr. Sign‑on bonus available based on experience.
