IG is looking for an Engineer to join the Asset Health Performance team in support of EFD sensors. Currently have line sensor on the distribution systems side, looking at line sensor alerts that are coming back from devices, using line sensor data, electrical circuit (electrical fault currents) model data to figure out where the fault is, and then issue investigation tags if necessary for field to take a look, if they do follow All that data flows into Foundry and Analysts manage that data piece Responsibilities
Analyze line sensor alerts and data from devices to identify fault location. Use electrical fault current data and circuit models to determine fault staging and necessary follow-up actions. Issue investigation tags for field teams to inspect as needed. Ensure that data flows into Foundry and that Analysts manage the data components. Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as an electrical engineer. Power engineering background. Distribution system engineering experience. Understanding of distribution assets, amperage, and fault scenarios. Ability to apply engineering skills to analyze distribution systems.
