Project Manager / Construction Manager - LOS ANGELES, CA Do you have years of hands‑on experience managing construction projects from start to finish? Are you skilled at coordinating multiple teams and ensuring timelines and budgets stay on track?

We are hiring a Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects in Los Angeles, CA.

The Role As an M&O Project Manager, you will lead all phases of assigned projects valued at $2 million or more. From pre‑construction planning through final close‑out, you'll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and public agencies to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee pre‑construction, bidding, construction, and close‑out phases

Review and comment on design documents

Prepare status reports and updates for senior management

Coordinate with public agencies and district staff to ensure compliance and smooth project flow

Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date reporting

Supervise daily contractor operations and review schedules and submittals

Respond to contractor inquiries and manage change orders fairly and efficiently

Review substitution requests to ensure compliance with specifications

Oversee payments and contract terms for all vendors and consultants

Administer agreements with architects and coordinate delivery of furniture, fixtures, and equipment

Ensure projects are certified and closed out according to Division of State Architect (DSA) requirements

The Person Required

8 years of full-time professional experience in project/construction management of commercial or public/educational facilities

Experience managing complex construction projects valued at $2 million or more

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from a recognized college or university

Experience using Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Familiarity with LEED and CHPS certified projects

Experience with DSA construction, design, and certification processes
