Seeking a Flexible Part-Time SharePoint Expert
Are you a SharePoint Engineer looking for a role that respects your work-life balance?
We are supporting a full-service IT provider that empowers organizations with comprehensive managed services, proactive cybersecurity, and modern cloud solutions. They are seeking a talented SharePoint Engineer to join their team in Sterling, VA, on a flexible, part-time basis.

What You'll Be Doing
As the SharePoint Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for designing, developing, and managing SharePoint solutions that keep client operations secure and efficient.
Collaboration & Solution Design
Design and implement SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists to support team collaboration and document management.
Build and optimize business process workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer.
Partner directly with business units to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, scalable solutions.
Provide training and support to users and site owners to drive adoption.
Development & Customization
Develop custom SharePoint components using SPFx, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
Create and maintain Power Apps and integrated solutions with Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing SharePoint applications and forms.
Governance & Administration
Administer SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments, including site collections, permissions, and storage.
Implement and enforce governance policies, security protocols, and content lifecycle management.
Monitor system performance, usage analytics, and compliance with data retention policies.
Maintain clear technical documentation.
What You Need to Succeed (Required)
3+ years of hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server.
Strong proficiency in the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Demonstrable experience with SPFx, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture, site provisioning, and governance frameworks.
Familiarity with Azure services, Microsoft Graph API, and Active Directory.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Bonus Points (Preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with Microsoft Purview or other compliance tools.
A proven ability to translate complex business needs into simple technical solutions.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., SharePoint Developer or Administrator) are a plus.
