Responsibilities What You’ll Do as a Supervisor Field Operations

Oversee operational results of General Foremen.

Schedule weekly crew visits and provide guidance and support.

Implement and monitor the Corporate Safety Program.

Collaborate on accident investigations and resolutions.

Ensure high‑quality arboricultural work is consistently performed.

Manage equipment maintenance and purchasing procedures.

Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with contract specifications.

Communicate regularly with the Division Manager.

Review and estimate fixed‑price bid work.

Engage potential customers as assigned.

Enforce company policies and procedures.

Attend training to enhance business and operational skills.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications What You Bring

Accountable for the operational results of General Foremen.

Schedule weekly crew visits with General Foremen, giving guidance, assistance, and support.

Oversee the implementation of the Corporate Safety Program, training sessions, tailgate meetings, and award programs.

Work with General Foremen and Corporate Safety investigating and settling accident claims quickly, efficiently, and sensitively.

Ensure high‑quality arboricultural work is performed at all times.

Ensure equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and purchasing policies and procedures are completed properly.

Maintain continuous contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with all customers’ contract specifications and requirements.

Maintain open communication with the Division Manager on all area operational activities.

Review and/or estimate fixed‑price lump‑sum bid work.

Contact potential customers as assigned by the Regional Vice President or Division Manager.

Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures.

Attend internal and external training courses that pertain to improving and developing job‑related business management and operational skills.

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Division Manager or Regional Vice President.

Physical ability to hike, lift up 50 lbs., and handle tools.

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).

CPR/First Aid certification (provided by Lewis).

Herbicide applicator certification (or ability to complete and maintain).

Ensure compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations.

Physical Demands Ability to:

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Walk or hike on uneven terrain.

Travel frequently, including extended stays during emergencies.

Operate tools and equipment.

Communicate clearly and effectively.

Tools & Equipment Equipment may include:

Aerial lift trucks, dump trucks, ATVs

Chainsaws, pole saws, handsaws, chipper

Blowers, pruners, rakes, winches, ropes

Climbing gear: harness, chaps, spikes

Sprayers, herbicide applicators, fuel, cones, signs

Tablets and communication devices
