Join Our Team We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented IT Change & Release Manager with a strong foundation in the insurance industry to coordinate IT change and release activities across Agile and DevOps environments. This role ensures the secure and compliant delivery of IT changes and software releases while minimizing disruption to operations. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and report directly to the Head of IT Strategic Projects and Governance.

Responsibilities

Change & Release Execution

Develop and manage change and release strategies tailored to (re)insurance systems and regulatory requirements.

Maintain a centralized release calendar to ensure alignment with sprint schedules, backlog priorities, and business needs.

Facilitate CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to review change requests, ensure stakeholder alignment and support Agile release trains or CI/CD pipelines.

Own, evolve and demonstrate compliance with SiriusPoint’s Change Management Policy.

Agile Delivery Collaboration

Integrate change and release processes into delivery frameworks, covering both waterfall and Agile processes.

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to assess change impacts and ensure QA objectives are met.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and QA Engineers to support continuous delivery and stakeholder alignment.

DevOps Enablement

Ensure releases are orchestrated via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) with automated quality gates and rollback mechanisms.

Monitor implementation performance using observability tools to evaluate risk, control effectiveness, and compliance.

Partner with DevOps engineers to embed release governance into development workflows with auditable tracking and automated change control.

Risk & Compliance

Conduct impact assessments and ensure all changes follow approved processes with appropriate documentation.

Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, NAIC, GDPR) and internal audit requirements.

Own IT SOX quarterly/year‑end certifications and post‑release evaluations across development and infrastructure teams.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze release metrics and feedback to evolve change governance and reduce deployment friction.

Promote best practices in quality assurance and agile delivery, championing a DevSecOps mindset across teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in IT Change and Release Management.

Strong understanding of insurance domain processes (e.g., claims, underwriting, policy administration).

Experience with ITIL framework and change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience working within an evolving environment and can adapt to changes in the project or schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of regulatory compliance in insurance (e.g., NAIC, GDPR).

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Salary The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 per year to $150,000 per year. This is a good‑faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job‑related factors.
