Occupational Therapist (OT) – Early Intervention

Our mission is to support children (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays by providing high-quality therapeutic services in home and community-based settings. We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists who are passionate about helping young children thrive.
Position Overview As an Occupational Therapist in the Early Intervention program, you will provide services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays. You will work directly in the child’s natural environment to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior, while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct occupational therapy services for children ages 0–3
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals
Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members
Coach and educate caregivers to support therapy carryover at home
Maintain accurate records and comply with NYC Early Intervention documentation standards
Participate in IFSP meetings and case reviews as needed

Qualifications
Current NYS license and registration as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
Experience working in home-based Early Intervention
Knowledge of Early Intervention standards and family-centered care principles
Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Reliable transportation to travel throughout the assigned borough
Physical Requirements
Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer)
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines.
