Under supervision, the incumbent joins a team of analysts that conduct economic, policy and/or technical analyses and research on passenger transportation issues. The incumbent analyzes transportation carrier applications; prepares or contributes to reports, procedures, guidelines and informational materials; may conduct outreach activities to educate carriers, related industries, and law enforcement agencies. May attend or help facilitate industry workshops and meetings.

Special Requirements

Ability to learn processes and apply them in a fast-paced, outcomes-oriented work environment.

Ability to communicate professionally within the agency and to provide effective customer service to external stakeholders and the public.

Experience working independently with oversight.
