Job Description – Forest River Inc. – Business Intelligence Developer - Onsite

We’re looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to complete our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into insights that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities As a Business Intelligence Writer, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Develop and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft BI Tools, including Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and other related tools
Design and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to consolidate data from various sources into a central data warehouse
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity by developing and executing data validation and cleansing processes
Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support BI activities and reporting requirements
Stay current with the latest BI technologies and trends
Data Visualization Design to convey patterns and data trends
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the BI infrastructure
Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions. Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple places and centralize it in one data source.
Additional Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Computer Science or similar
7+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI – or equivalent reporting systems, with a focus on Microsoft technologies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T‑SQL, and SSIS
Demonstrated expertise in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSIS/SSRS, and/or other Microsoft tools
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and create actionable insights
Written and Communication Skills
Familiarity with data warehousing, data mining, and SQL query languages
Experience in successful and effective deployment, administration, and maintenance of Power BI platforms
Dependable Transportation – Required
