Accounts Payable Clerk Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to manage the full cycle of accounts payable operations. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a high level of proficiency with Excel and other financial systems. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the weekly AP check run Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices Review invoices for proper coding and approval Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Process employee expense reimbursements Set up new vendors in the AP system Handle W-9 requests and maintain vendor documentation Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable Solid understanding of accounting principles Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service orientation High proficiency in Excel and other financial software Ability to follow structured processes and procedures Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications

College coursework in business or accounting Experience with any of the following systems: SAP Concur, AVIDXchange, ApplicationXtender, Unit4 Financials Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
