We are looking for talented technicians to help full‑scale production of the Kuiper satellites. Key Responsibilities
Follow work instructions and safety procedures
Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics or other complex aerospace builds
Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Support some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures
Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Eligibility Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Work Schedule & Additional Requirements
Willing to work 4/10s as assigned:
1st shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm PST (Sun – Wed)
1st shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm PST (Wed – Sat)
2nd shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am PST (Sun – Wed)
2nd shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am PST (Wed – Sat)
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
Flexible working/commuting between site locations Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WA
Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Basic Qualifications
1+ year in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
1+ year using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches)
1+ year working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
Experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
Preferred Qualifications
Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
CFOT certification or equivalent experienceCFOT certification or equivalent experience
Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
ASE certification or equivalent experience
Experience in fast‑paced production environment with flight hardware
Experience working with FOD, ESD‑sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Experience working with electro‑mechanical assembly, final integration, fiber optics/optical and/or harness integration
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environment
Expert knowledge and certification in rigging and lifting equipment
Experience in rigging related safety measures
