We are searching for the best talent for two Sr. Director of Capital Sales, OTTAVA roles. One will serve the Eastern portion of the US, and the other the Western portion. These field-based roles are available in all states within the United States. OTTAVA is J&J’s first soft-tissue surgical robotics product, designed to enter a competitive landscape with a compressed launch curve. This role will report to the General Manager, OTTAVA US, who can build capital selling capabilities while leveraging the breadth and scale of J&J to lead the OTTAVA team in a fast-growing, multi-billion-dollar market. Purpose

Plans, develops, and directs all aspects of the capital sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform in the US based on J&J MD company goals and objectives Ensures effective implementation and execution of strategies to create a long-term growth trajectory for OTTAVA Platform by building successful robotics programs with strong clinical support Leads a growing capital sales organization, driving people development, inclusion, and building new capabilities for the future MedTech robotic environment You will be responsible for

Responsible for Capital Sales goals and delivery of forecasted revenue expectations on a quarterly basis Deliver the Capital Sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform, ensuring profitable growth through procedural volume from clinical champions Lead the team to create a high-performing, agile, and customer-focused capital sales organization. Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex, dynamic marketplace. Champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace and an engaged workforce Drive an ambitious Talent Development and people development agenda, building on strong Credo-based leadership Develop strong relationships with key hospital executives and opinion leaders Ensure healthcare compliance and ethical integrity principles are championed and practiced at every level of the organization Develop internal and external partnerships to facilitate collaboration and establish J&J’s industry presence and expertise in this space Deliver weekly reports detailing SMART goals, KPIs, and funnel growth to achieve quarterly sales goals Be accountable for daily, weekly, monthly deliverables, working closely with the OTTAVA GM to manage opportunities through the sales pipeline Deliver on marketing and sales tactics to drive awareness of the OTTAVA brand in target markets to support quick adoption Additional duties/responsibilities as needed Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000–$299,000 and Bay Area $200,000–$343,850. The Company maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the applicable plan. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual and company performance over a calendar/performance year. Employees and/or eligible dependents may participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accident, and group legal). Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 10+ years of experience with complex medical capital equipment Experience growing complex medical capital equipment, including hardware, software, and disposables, in target markets within your territory Ability to work within a cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to create a unified customer experience with clear guiding principles Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on leadership, relationship development and influence management Exceptional customer focus and relationship-building across diverse clinical and nonclinical stakeholders Strong organizational leadership with ability to inspire and mobilize teams Ability to travel up to 80% domestically as required Experience with Challenger Selling methodology or ability to adopt new selling styles for complex capital solutions Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
