We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team, with a focus on driving sales growth and delivering technical solutions to our customers.
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in sales and a passion for technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience and a proven track record of success in the mining and industrial sectors. Specific experience with pump sales and/or bulk material handling weighing solutions is a plus.
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building relationships with customers, and delivering technical solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be based in or around Reno, NV, Winnemucca, NV, Elko, NV, Wells, NV, Salt Lake City, UT
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the mining and industrial sectors
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including cold calling, networking, and relationship‑building.
Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to deliver technical solutions
Provide technical support and training to customers on products and solutions
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends
Requirements:
5+ years of sales experience, preferably with pump sales or bulk material handling / weighing experience
Proven track record of success in the mining and industrial sectors
Technical knowledge of mining and industrial processes and related equipment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet sales targets
Ability to travel
Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar technical qualification), business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications:
Some experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
Knowledge of industry‑specific regulations and standards
Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including global engineering and product management
