Overview The Fayetteville, NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a Neurologist!

You will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients referred to the outpatient and inpatient Neurology Service. Neurologists are responsible for patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow‑up clinics and for providing inpatient consultation to the acute medical and intensive care units. The outpatient clinics will consist of both in‑person and virtual clinics.

You will evaluate and treat patients seen in the Neurology Consult Clinic for disorders such as headache, peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck/back pain, seizures, and tremor. You will also perform neurologic procedures, such as NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or Botox administration.

Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation and treatment for patients referred to outpatient and inpatient neurology services.

Conduct general neurology consults and follow‑up in both in‑person and virtual settings.

Provide emergency inpatient consultation to acute medical and intensive care units.

Perform neurologic procedures including NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and Botox administration.

Coordinate with other hospital sections to evaluate and treat patients with headache, peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck/back pain, seizures, and tremor.
