detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper

to join our team. This role will focus heavily on bookkeeping and accounting functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting as our company scales. Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Bookkeeping : Record, categorize, and reconcile daily financial transactions. Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly. Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Track project-level expenses and revenues for energy efficiency and EV charging projects. Support management with cash flow reporting and forecasting. Accounts Payable & Receivable : Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Generate and issue customer invoices, track collections, and manage aging reports. Maintain vendor and customer records. Payroll Support : Assist with payroll preparation, journal entries, and employee expense reimbursements. Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations. Compliance & Audit : Support annual tax filings with external CPA firm. Maintain accurate records for grants, incentives, and energy efficiency program reimbursements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies. Qualifications

Required 3+ years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience. Proficiency with

QuickBooks Online

(or similar accounting software). Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial tracking). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Experience working in

construction, energy efficiency, or project-based industries . Familiarity with incentive/grant reimbursements or utility program funding. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Key Attributes

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and time management skills. Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits
