Position Summary This position will serve as the Men's Health Program Coordinator in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with the that support the Department of Urology's Men's Health and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in collaboration with senior management and various external stakeholders. These duties include the development of full‑scale project plans, financial plans, and associated communications documents.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Relevant post‑Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, we will accept a relevant Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution. May require terminal degree and licensure.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally.

Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Basic working knowledge of research in the area of assignment, retrieval of data/information, working within established deadlines, and working with a project of limited scope and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Preferred Degree in business, public administration, public health, health related, science or related equivalent experience.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal and external constituents.

At least 2 years’ experience in community event planning.
