Position Summary This position will serve as the Men’s Health Program Coordinator in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple simultaneous projects supporting the Department of Urology’s Men’s Health and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in collaboration with senior management and external stakeholders. Duties include development of full-scale project plans, financial plans, and associated communications documents.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects aligned with Men’s Health and Lineberger Center goals.

Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and communications documents.

Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Monitor progress, address issues, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Minimum Education And Experience Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates with comparable independent research productivity, a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience may be substituted. Terminal degree and licensure may be required.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with diverse populations effectively and professionally.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Basic working knowledge of research in the area of assignment, data retrieval, meeting deadlines, and managing a project of limited scope.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience

Preferred degree in business, public administration, public health, health-related field, science, or related experience.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

At least 2 years of experience in community event planning.
