Trueline is seeking a
Project Manager
to join their Construction team in Stamford, CT. In this role you will drive project delivery from planning through close out, ensuring budgets, schedules, safety, and quality standards are met. You’ll lead teams, manage scope changes, and influence project outcomes in a hands on environment.
What You’ll Do as the Project Manager:
Lead pre-construction planning, coordination, and logistics, collaborating with design, estimating, and field teams
Chair project development meetings and guide design/engineering deliverables
Perform constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize cost and schedule
Oversee subcontract bidding, contract awards, and procurement in partnership with Estimating
Collaborate with superintendents to build field schedules and logistics plans
Manage change orders: estimate, negotiate, get approvals, and update project budgets
Monitor job cost accounting, reconciling budgets and revising forecasts
Drive project close-out: manage punch lists, as-built documentation, certificates of occupancy, and final reconciliations
Project Manager Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
5+ years of experience managing construction projects (planning, scheduling, cost control)
Strong field experience (on-site exposure and oversight)
Proficiency with construction management software and tools
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Nice-to-Haves as the Project Manager:
Experience in design-build or integrated delivery methods
Familiarity with local CT / Northeast codes, permitting, and market conditions
Prior experience working in land development or mixed-use residential / commercial projects
Certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED
